“All children are
artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” ~~ Pablo
Picasso
This is some artwork by my little one...she will turn 3 in August. I get so much joy out of watching her grow and learn everyday. She definitely is part of the inspiration for going into the field of education.I am fascinated by her willingness and curiosity.
Darcie, this picture is so beautiful. I was captivated by the innocence in the brush strokes. It is watercolor I take it? When your post first came up on my feed, I honestly thought that your Picasso quote was complemented by a famous artists' work...no lie! Then I had to comment on the picture when I read that your daughter painted it. You should be very proud. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think its fun to get her all set up with markers or paint and leave her be for a while. I usually come back to a little bit of a mess but I also come back to the most creative stuff!! After she goes to bed, I go through her coloring pad and just get a kick out of what she made.
DeleteThe artwork of children is amazing! I love the use of colors in this picture. She was just having fun and enjoying the creation of something new. Young children have a way of making these beautiful creations without thinking about what they are creating. Hopefully your little one holds on to the artist inside.
ReplyDeleteI love this picture...that is beautiful. The little one is very talented.
